Our policies

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We are here on behalf of young people. They must come first.

We take responsibilities for the safeguarding of students seriously. Safeguarding is essential to assure the safety of young people and adults in the college.

Safeguarding is given the highest priority – from the appointment of staff, governors, volunteers and contractors to the necessary checking procedures.

We collaborate with other services and agencies to share information and work together to protect our students from harm.

All our staff undergo regular training and are aware of our Safeguarding Policy.

Our designated safeguarding staff are:

  • Lesley Glover
  • Sharon Daly

If you are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of any of our students, please inform Lesley Glover or Sharon Daly, or speak to any member of staff about what to do.
