Parent View

We have a thriving, supportive parents forum and are always looking to expand this community. You do not have to commit to on-going meetings and events – any support, no matter how little or often, is greatly appreciated.

Parents Forum

The aim of the Parent View is to:

  • Establish a sense of community between UTC, our students and their families
  • Not demand too much time of busy parents, but instead create a network of volunteers
  • Ensure parents have a voice in the UTC and have the opportunity to contribute
  • Support in fundraising that directly impacts on our students and their lives

We meet once a term at mutually convenient times, agreeing on an event or activity to run and discussing any issues that need raising. You do not have to attend every meeting or commit to help at every event. All other communication is by email or text.

If you would like to get involved, or have some suggestions for how to support parents and students further, contact Lesley Glover via

Parent View

Parent View gives you the chance to tell us (Ofsted) what you think about your child’s school.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child's school. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.
